Everyone Has a Role. Rescue I.Q. Makes Sure the Right Person Fills It.

Five structured responder roles. Assigned by algorithm. Guided by AI. Documented from the first second.

FM

Field Medic

Hands on. Lives saved.

Performs

  • CPR with real-time quality feedback
  • AED operation and device management
  • Bleeding control: direct pressure and tourniquet application
  • Airway positioning with barrier device
  • Naloxone administration where permitted by law

Minimum: 1 per actively treated patient. Credential required for Rescue Recon pathway — verification happens at activation.

AI Provides

  • Real-time BLS prompts and verbal cues
  • CPR quality feedback (compression depth, rate, recoil)
  • AED guidance and shock advisories
  • Medication dosing reminders with body weight/li>
  • 2-minute CPR rotation timer and handoff protocol

Boundary

Does not make diagnostic decisions. Does not perform invasive procedures. All advanced directives deferred to EMS or Telehealth Provider. Field Medic is executor, not decision-maker.

AN

Analyst

If it isn't documented, it didn't happen.

Performs

  • Timestamps all interventions in real time
  • Records vitals: heart rate, respirations, skin color, consciousness
  • Prepares complete EMS handoff report
  • Manages 2-minute CPR rotation clock and responder swaps
  • Transcribes scene audio and bystander observations

Maximum: 1 per 3 patients.

AI Provides

  • Automated speech-to-text transcription
  • Real-time documentation prompts ("Record vitals now," "Next rotation in 90 seconds")
  • Auto-generated EMS report with all interventions and timeline
  • Data completeness gate: cannot close event until all critical fields validated

Boundary

Does not perform patient care. Does not make clinical decisions. Documentation role only — the Analyst is the memory system.

QM

Quartermaster

The right gear, in the right hands, in 90 seconds.

Performs

  • Retrieves and stages AED with device check
  • Brings oxygen and naloxone kits to scene
  • Stages hemorrhage control kit (tourniquets, gauze, bandages)
  • Deploys OB kit if obstetric emergency detected
  • Manages HazMat PPE and personal protection
  • Must confirm gear arrival and placement within 90 seconds
  • If not confirmed, system auto-triggers crowdsource alert for nearest available equipment

AI Provides

  • Supply routing guidance and optimal path to nearest equipment
  • Real-time inventory tracking across deployed QM Stations
  • Nearest AED mapping with ETA
  • Quartermaster's Station access (where deployed in organization)
  • Automatic supply logging for EMS handoff report

Boundary

Does not perform patient care. Equipment logistics only. Quartermaster is supply chain, not clinician.

SEN

Sentinel

Safe scene. Safe response.

Performs

  • Establishes scene perimeter and hazard awareness
  • Manages crowd and traffic direction
  • Monitors for dynamic hazards (fire spread, structural failure, chemical exposure)
  • Guides bystanders to safe assembly points
  • Documents hazards via photo and video
  • Triggers Scene Safety Override when imminent threat detected

Always assigned for outdoor or public scenes. Only role active during Failsafe Mode.

AI Provides

  • Hazard detection via camera feed analysis
  • AR perimeter guidance overlayed on phone screen
  • Automated bystander push alerts for evacuation
  • Real-time location tracking to EMS and responders

Boundary

Does not perform patient care. Scene safety only. Sentinel is first and last line of defense — their work is invisible when successful.

PROV

Provider

Clinical authority, remotely present.

Performs

  • Joins incident via secure telehealth session
  • Confirms working diagnosis and clinical picture
  • Issues clinical directives to Field Medic and responders
  • Authorizes medications and administration protocols
  • Makes destination decisions: PCI center, stroke center, OB facility, psychiatric unit
  • Conducts behavioral health consults and de-escalation guidance

Auto-triggered for 11 high-acuity event types (cardiac arrest, massive hemorrhage, stroke, etc.). Licensed clinicians only — credential-gated at platform enrollment.

AI Provides

  • Live scene video stream and responder camera feeds
  • Real-time intervention records with timestamps
  • Wound imaging data (where Quartermaster's Station deployed)
  • ECG prompts and 12-lead interpretation checklists
  • Stroke scale (NIHSS) and ACS checklist auto-completion
  • Signed encounter note auto-generated at event close

Boundary

Does not perform hands-on care. Telehealth oversight only. Replaces no EMS function — Provider supplements pre-arrival interval only and explicitly does not substitute for paramedic or EMT response.
